Training Program

"The Kids' Workshop™ is for all kids of all social, economic and ethnic backgrounds. No category or group of kids is targeted, and no kids are left out. Included in the workshop exercises are ones which help develop and foster multiculturalism as an extension of empathy and trust."

Kids’ Workshop Facilitator Training Program

A program to train people to be facilitators for the Kids’ Workshop in private practice, schools, communities settings, day care, medical settings, at risk children and anywhere where people are working in the world of children. Participants will learn to recognize person centered qualities within themselves and to develop ways to help children express these qualities. The training program is presented through theory, experiential exercises, hands-on experience and a demonstration of a Kids’ Workshop. There are two different sessions of the training program and before the second phase there is an opportunity to have a direct experience of being a facilitator for a Kids’ Workshop. The program supplies a manual for facilitating the kids workshops and handouts. After the second phase of the training program the participants receive an International certification to be a facilitator for the kids workshop. The Kids’ Workshop has been approved by the Italian Minister of Education for presentation in the Italian schools. Through translation we present the training program in Italy, France and other countries.
